CheckMK Special Agent for Nextcloud Monitors various aspects of Nextcloud instances like state, quota and disk usage of all users, number of apps with available updates, database cache hit rate and so on. Gives additional information regarding versions of Nextcloud, database etc.

• Since version > 2.0, the Nextcloud special agent rule has changed. Existing rules must be deleted and recreated.

• Server information requires a dedicated NC-Token, sent to the ServerInfo API as the NC-Token header.

• Optional user monitoring uses a separate administrator username and its app password. The NC-Token cannot be used as the user password.

• If Nextcloud uses allowed_admin_ranges, the effective client IP address of the Checkmk site must be included in an allowed range.

• In container deployments, Nextcloud may see the Docker bridge or gateway IP instead of the Checkmk host's LAN IP. Include that address or network in allowed_admin_ranges.
