title: Quantum Scalar i6: Open RAS tickets
agents: snmp
catalog: hw/storagehw/quantum
license: GPLv2
distribution: local
description:
This check lists the open RAS (Reliability, Availability, Serviceability)
tickets of a Quantum Scalar i3/i6 tape library, read via SNMP from the
ticket table (.1.3.6.1.4.1.3697.1.10.15.5.50.10). It explains the reason
 behind a non-green status in {quantum_i6_rassubsystem}.

If there are no open tickets, the service is OK. Otherwise the summary
shows the number of open tickets and one entry per ticket with its ID,
report code, title, affected drive and opening date, for example
 {Ticket 512: ET135 Drive Tape Alert 35 (C42C00B020) since 2026-10-08}.
The drive is shown by its serial number, which is part of the item of the
{quantum_i6_drives} service, or by its location if the ticket has no
 serial number.

Each ticket gets the state of its severity: {informational} is OK,
{attention} and {warning} are WARN, {degraded} and {critical} are CRIT,
anything else is UNKNOWN. The service takes the worst state of all
 tickets.

The details show the description, severity and subsystem (library, drive
or media) of each ticket, and all its detail rows
as reported by the library, such as drive humidity and temperature, media
 barcode, partition and firmware version.

The check produces the metric {ras_tickets}, the number of open tickets.

The plugins of this family are detected on devices whose system description
starts with {Linux library} and whose product name
 (.1.3.6.1.4.1.3697.1.10.15.5.7) contains {Scalar i3-i6}.

discovery:
One service {RAS Tickets} is created per library.
