title: Zigbee2MQTT: Device
agents: special/zigbee2mqtt
catalog: app/zigbee2mqtt
license: GPL-2.0-only
distribution: check_mk
description:
Monitors one Zigbee device managed by Zigbee2MQTT.

The service shows vendor, model, device type (router / end device) and power source,
the time since the device was last seen, its link quality (LQI) and, if reported, its
battery level. It also reports the availability state (with the Zigbee2MQTT
availability feature enabled), whether the device is supported and successfully
interviewed, whether a firmware (OTA) update is available, and the per-device
 counters of the health report.

Default levels: last seen {WARN}/{CRIT} after 24h/48h for battery powered and
after 1h/3h for mains powered devices, battery below 20%/10%. Offline devices are
{CRIT}, unsupported devices, failed interviews and battery_low are {WARN}, an
available firmware update is {OK}. Everything is configurable via the rule
"Zigbee2MQTT Devices"; link quality has no levels by default.

Last seen requires {advanced.last_seen} to be enabled in Zigbee2MQTT. With the MQTT
data source, device values are only available for devices that reported during the
 listen window.

item:
The friendly name of the device.

discovery:
One service per device (the coordinator excluded). Disabled devices are only
discovered if configured. With the special agent's piggyback option, the services
are discovered on one piggyback host per device instead of on the Zigbee2MQTT host.
